DID YOU KNOW?...
Only one narzan spring had been known until 1928. However,
during its development and further investigation of the territory,
which was later called “Kislovodsk deposit of narzan”, other
sources of mineral water had been discovered.
The main di erence between the Kislovodsk narzans is the
degree of their salinity and the composition of microelements,
which allows us to divide all narzan waters into three groups:
* «General narzan» is procured from the depth of 10-15 m and is
characterized by low salinity (up to 2 g/l). It is mainly used as drinking water.
* «Dolomite narzan» possesses a higher salinity up to 5 g/l and is
procured from the depth of 100-150 m. It is used as a curative drinking
water, which improves metabolism and accelerates the elimination
of toxins from the human body.
* «Sulphated narzan» mineral waters possess the
highest salinity (5.2-6.7 g/l) due to the content of magnesium
and sodium sulfates. This type of narzan is procured from
the depth of more than 400 m and has the most
prominent curative e ect.
The waters of dolomite and sulfate
narzans are brought to the Narzan
gallery in the Kislovodsk.
